a day in the life of a product manager

* Read through email and reply back on urgent emails, and that can be replied quickly
* Park the emails in a separate folder that needs some more R&D, or interaction with other teams, or need to reply carefully
* Check team chat to check if there are any queries that I need to answer and reply which I can do in 2 mins. Add to TO DO list that needs to be explained in detail
* Prioritize the to do list, meetings, needing some R&D for the day
* Head over to daily stand up meeting and clarify things to team or take up action items to reply back
* Plan & do any interactions and updates to customer and schedule meetings if required/email where needed
* Work with support teams in giving tasks, following up on tasks, and learning about the research made
* Over lunch, Market research on your product, understanding where it is going, how competition is in, read through forums.
* Work on personal tasks like UI/Mockups, market research, replies
* Attend meetings of product demo meetings, detailed discussion meetings or schedule walk through to other teams/management
* Update PM tools, JIRA user stories, Confluence tasks on latest project status, user stories updation.
* Update teams on anything that is needed to be updated
* Update status end of the day, follow-ups, assignment of tasks and wrap up the day
* Attend customer or onsite calls and follow up with MoM and updating of TO DO lists.
